Our mission

To create an easy to use platform, that allows users alternative methods to process written information.

Our story

ReadTheWords.com began as a simple concept in January 2008: To assist students with learning disabilities with their studies, by means of auditory learning and auditory processing. To that end we sought out programers, technologies, and research departments from around the world and came up with a very basic platform, far less sophisticated than what you currently see on our website. Although we had originally intended this site to be used for auditory learning, through our researching efforts we found that the demand for this technology reaches far beyond our originally intended audience. Many other students, young professionals, actors and actresses, research departments, bloggers, ecommerce sites, and others, expressed how this technology could help them with their daily lives, and their businesses. For this reason, we went back to the drawing board and added more features to meet more users’ needs. ReadTheWords created multiple input methods for users to create readings. We also greatly expanded our efforts to allow users take full advantage of the created readings as mp3’s. In particular, we found that Bloggers are constantly looking for ways to reach a larger audience and we, in turn, have found a way to meet this need by enabling them to create podcasts and share them with their readers. We also created a platform for bloggers and website operators to paste an audio toolbar in their website or blog, making it possible for any reader to become a listener. The feedback has been overwhelming and we continue to add new features and users to our site each day. So, all this may lead you to wonder about the full extent of the possibilities that this technology presents. The answer is truly limitless. We encourage you to try our free service and let us know how you’ve been able to use it to your meet your own needs.

Our Promise

We will always use the latest technology in order to provide our users the clearest sounding, synthesized speech solutions. You will never have to worry about a better technology solution, as we strive to be the leader in this arena, and will continually keep pace with the ever-changing technologies.

One of the fastest growing utility companies in the nation entered the Georgia deregulated natural gas market on April 5th. Ignite is the marketing arm of Stream Energy. Stream Energy grew to approximately 1 billion in revenue in just 3 years as they sold electricity in Texas. With only 5% of the market in the Texas utility this company has grown by leaps and bounds.

Now, Ignite enters Georgia. Instead of using the common model of paying for advertising, Ignite pays those who tell others of the service to switch from their current utility provider to Stream Energy. Those who choose to be “Independent Associate” in the Ignite organization can make a residual income on utility bills, month after month. Along with this, as they sign up associates to refer others, the IA can receive an income by referring associates to the business model.

Have you ever been asked to sell vitamins, soap, energy drinks and the like. The one big thing about these endeavors is you must continue to sell the product. With Ignite the product is sold each month for you as we all pay our utility bill. By referring 3 associates and signing up 10 customers you can make an income on hundreds, if not thousands of utility customers.

Ignite and Stream energy are in Texas and Georgia and have plans to work in many states that have deregulated uitilities. For more information about Ignite and Stream see www.ignitetoday.net. Be sure to take a look at the informative videos and click on “join ignite” to get started. After April 21st you will be able to switch gas providers.

Jurrjens, who is trying to make his case for a spot in the rotation, held the Indians hitless and struck out two in in the first three innings.

Mark Teixeira had an RBI single and Joe Borchard hit a two-run double in the third off of Cleveland’s Joe Borowski. Teixeira had a solo homer in the sixth.

The Indians didn’t score until getting a hit off of Colter Bean with two outs in the ninth.

Jurrgens was acquired from Detroit in the trade that sent Edgar Renteria to the Tigers.

Atlanta manager Bobby Cox says third baseman Chipper Jones might be ready to play tomorrow when the Braves travel to Lakeland, Florida, to meet the Tigers.

If you want to know where the jobs are, just take a look outside. Forbes Magazine says Atlanta is the fourth best city in America to find work.

The good news applies to the city itself and the metro area where more than a million new jobs are likely to be created in the next two decades.

In the last three years, the city’s tax digest has grown by $16 billion, and the number of jobs is up by nearly 18,000. Atlanta’s quality of life is one of the biggest draws for companies looking to relocate here, along with its up and coming workforce.

“We are a brain gain city,” said Peggy McCormick, President of the Atlanta Development Authority. “And what that means is the young professionals who’re graduating from college around the country are moving to Atlanta. And they’re moving here because there are a lot of jobs, because it’s a cool place to live, and it’s affordable.”

The Atlanta Development Authority is like the city’s high-speed Business DSL, helping new and old businesses connect with funding, resources, and each other.

The Environmental Protection Agency has ordrered a multibillion-dollar expansion of efforts to clean up smog in cities and towns nationwide.

The EPA said yesterday that it’s tightening the amount of ozone, commonly known as smog, that will be allowed in the air.

EPA Administrator Stephen Johnson says the new limits will require 345 counties to make air quality improvements.

Most of those counties in Georgia are in metro Atlanta. They include Cobb, Coweta, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Paulding and Rockdale counties.

But Bibb, Clarke, Murray and Richmond counties also made the list.

Democratic Sen. Barack Obama said Thursday that Sen. John McCain reversed his position on President Bush’s deep tax cuts in order to win the Republican presidential nomination, one of his sharpest criticisms yet of the Arizona senator he hopes to face this fall.

Criticizing GOP efforts to extend major tax cuts from Bush’s first term and to eliminate the estate tax, Obama said: “These are all steps that John McCain rightly said were irresponsible when they first came up.”

“He made a decision to reverse himself on that,” Obama told reporters as he flew from Chicago to Washington for a series of Senate votes on budget issues.

“That was how, I guess, you got your ticket punched to be the Republican nominee,” he said of McCain. “But he was right then, and he’s wrong now.”

McCain has said he supports extending the tax cuts, which he initially voted against, because the economy is struggling and tax reductions offer some stimulus.

Ignoring pleas from church leaders, the House Regulated Industries Committee yesterday attached the Sunday sales measure to a Senate bill allowing a minor league baseball stadium in suburban Atlanta to serve beer at Sunday games. They then passed the retooled bill unanimously.

The legislation would give local communities the option to offer Sunday sales at grocery and convenience stores from 12:30 to 11:30 p.m. But they could do so if only if local voters approved.

The measure could reach the full House as early as next week.

The seemingly endless drought in the Southeast has caused tension in bordering states and now the water wars literally have a battle line.

The Tennessee River has become the focus of a border skirmish between Georgia and Tennessee. Georgia lawmakers believe part of the river actually belongs to their state, but Tennessee residents strongly disagree and vow to protect their boundaries.

“I think this is pure desperation,” said Tennessee State Sen. Andy Berke.

When Congress created the river in 1796, it set the 35th parallel as the border. In 1818 the border line was surveyed about a mile south after forest fires and Native Americans scared off surveyors.

Now Georgia lawmakers want to push it back 1.1 miles, which would send millions of gallons of water to Atlanta and other parts of the arid state. Since last summer Georgia has been desperate for water and its governor even went so far as to pray for rain.

A yellow helicopter hovered in a clear blue sky Monday, paused and then emptied a hopper with 250 gallons of river water onto a gutted sugar refinery where six died and two remain missing following an explosion which also injured dozens.A plume of white smoke floated into the air, then the helicopter circled toward the Savannah River, refilled the hopper and returned with another load.

The scene was repeated about every two minutes Monday morning in this Savannah suburb as firefighters worked to extinguish molten sugar still burning in two of Imperial Sugar refinery’s 100-foot storage silos after an explosion last Thursday.

Authorities have said they think the cause of the disaster was exploding sugar dust.

Dump trucks filled with sand as well as cranes and other emergency vehicles were parked in neat rows about 300 yards from the refinery Monday, as workers were withdrawn so the smoldering fire could be fought from the air.

Capt. Matt Stanley of the Savannah Fire Department said there would be no attempt to try to recover the missing workers until the fire is completely out. He said sand would be used if the aerial attack did not extinguish it completely.
